Wormtastic Recycles Organics

Our composting worms thrive on a feed of horse manure and fruit and vegetable juicing residues from Olivers Real Food.

Instead of being disposed to landfill, in which decomposition of putrescible waste produces a noxious liquid leachate, the organic content of the residues is digested in the worm farm and retained in the liquid and solid worm castings.

This organic matter is returned to the soil in Wormtastic and in the castings, naturally regenerating the soil’s renewable fertility and so helping to maintain a healthy soil eco-system.
